Lentils Colombian Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. cubed beef
    1/2 lb. lentils
    1/2 liter water
    2 grated potatoes
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 tomatoes, chopped
    salt and black pepper
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation
    In a medium-size saucepan, saute lentils and beef in oil for 5 minutes.
    Add water and the rest of the ingredients.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cover.
    Simmer until lentils are tender, about 30 minutes.
