Jeweled Broaches - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. butter (no substitutes!)
1 egg yolk
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
any flavor jam or preserves
Preparation

Mix flour and sugar.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives until coarse crumbs are formed.
Add egg yolk and vanilla.
Put in one large bowl.
Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
