Pumpkin Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. oil or butter
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. curry powder
    3 c. homemade chicken stock or canned
    1 lb. canned pumpkin (2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. honey
    dash of nutmeg
    salt and pepper
    1 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms and onions in oil or butter.
    Add the flour and curry; stir.
    Gradually add the broth, then the pumpkin, honey and other seasonings to taste.
    Cook for 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add cream and heat through without boiling.
    Top with a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
    Serves 6.
