Cheesy Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. salt
    1 medium sliced onion
    4 c. sliced cabbage
    1 c. milk
    2 qt. water
    1 c. grated American cheese
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Put salt, onion and cabbage in water.
    Boil just enough to wilt cabbage.
    Drain and place
    half
    of
    hot
    cabbage in a generously buttered baking dish.
    Cover
    with
    a
    layer of 1/2 cup grated cheese.
    Then
    top
    with
    1/2
    cup
    cracker crumbs. Repeat all 3 layers,
    ending
    with
    cracker
    crumbs.
    Dot with margarine and carefully pour in milk to cover crumbs.
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30
    minutes or until casserole is bubbling and light brown.
