Gold Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat yolks good; add water and beat again.
    Gradually add sugar, then vanilla.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt 4 times and gradually add to mixture.
    Beat egg whites stiff with cream of tartar and fold into mixture.
    Bake in ungreased tube pan for 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
