Fat-Free Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 egg whites
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. Karo syrup
    confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation
    Spray a 9-inch square pan
    with Mazola spray.
    In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
    In a medium bowl, mix egg whites, water and corn syrup.
    Add to dry ingredients; stir until smooth. Pour into prepared pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Cool in pan or on wire rack.
    If desired, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
    Makes 16 servings.
