Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 small squash, sliced
    1 c. bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
    1 small onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Boil squash and onion until tender.
    Mash and add butter, egg, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 bread crumbs.
    Place in greased baking dish and top with remaining cheese and remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese browns lightly.
