Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks soft butter
4 eggs
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together.
Add eggs and mix well.
Sift flour and baking powder together.
Blend in flour mixture and milk alternately, continuing to blend.
Add vanilla extract and blend until smooth.
Bake in a well-greased and floured tube pan at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
