Basic Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 fat
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    just enough milk to make pastry dough
Preparation
    On bottom of baking dish, spread a layer of sweetened fruit (apples, peaches, cherries), then a layer of pastry.
    Then spread another layer of fruit and top off with a layer of pastry.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 25 minutes, checking frequently.
