Chili With Lentils - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. dry lentils
    1 tsp. salt
    5 c. boiling water
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes or tomato sauce
    1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
    Rinse dry lentils.
    Pick out any stems or stones.
    Add salt and dry lentils to boiling water.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Do not drain.
    Add tomatoes or tomato sauce, chili powder, onion, celery and garlic; cover and simmer 30 minutes more.
    Serve over rice, spaghetti or corn chips.
