Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. cut up broccoli
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. margarine or butter
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
4 oz. (1 c.) American cheese
Preparation

Add onion to broccoli; cook broccoli according to package directions.
Drain.
In medium saucepan, melt margarine.
Stir in flour, salt and pepper until well blended.
Add milk gradually; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Add broccoli and remaining ingredients; cook until cheese is melted.
Makes 5 servings.
