Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 1/2 c. milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. coconut
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Cook cornstarch, sugar, milk, egg yolks and salt.
Cook in top of double boiler until thick.
Add vanilla and 3/4 cup coconut; pour into baked pie shell.
Pile on meringue and sprinkle with coconut.
Brown in a 350\u00b0 oven.
