Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. shortening (part margarine or butter)
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. cream of tarter
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly.
    Slowly start adding 5 1/2 cups of plain flour.
    I usually have to add at least 1 more cup of flour, or until you can shape (roll) into balls.
    Then roll in cinnamon sugar.
