Squash Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium squash (yellow, green or mixed)
    1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed or garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar or less
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/3 c. salad oil
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Combine squash which has been thinly sliced, onion, celery and pepper; toss lightly.
    Combine all other ingredients; stir well. Spoon over vegetables.
    Chill 12 hours, stirring occasionally.
