Tea Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 sticks butter
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
5 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add buttermilk and soda, stirred together.
Add baking powder.
Mix and chill for 3 to 4 hours.
Roll into 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
