Icebox Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Pioneer biscuit mix
2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Preparation

Mix ingredients with enough buttermilk to make soft batter, not too thin. Drop by teaspoonfuls in hot grease.
Batter will keep in refrigerator up to 5 days.
