English Lemon Pecan Tea Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 Tbsp. finely shredded lemon peel
Preparation
    Beat butter 30 seconds until soft.
    Add sugar.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each.
    Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
    Add to mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Beat well after each.
    Stir in pecans and lemon peel.
