Onion Ritzy Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 large onions, peeled and sliced in rounds
    1 stick real butter or Parkay
    salt and pepper to taste
    crushed Ritz crackers
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Boil onions in saucepan for a few minutes until transparent; drain well.
    Put in glass casserole dish; dot with butter.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Crush crackers over top.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
