Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 c. coarsely chopped onion
    1/4 c. coarsely chopped carrots
    4 cloves garlic, crushed
    m.s.g. (optional)
    1 1/4 lb. chuck or round, cubed
    2 bay leaves
    1 1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3/4 can beer
    1 c. beef bouillon
    parsley
Preparation
    Saute onion, carrots and garlic in oil for 5 minutes.
    Add meat and m.s.g. and brown 15 minutes.
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 2 hours.
    Serve on broad, hot, buttered noodles.
