Chicken, Sausage And Red Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage, cut in 2-inch pieces
    3 Tbsp. oil
    8 to 10 chicken thighs (2 1/2 lb.)
    1/2 c. water
    2 medium thin sliced onions
    6 medium red potatoes, with skin, halved
    2 green peppers, cut into strips
    1 red pepper, cut into strips
Preparation
    Heat oil and brown sausage and thighs on all sides. Remove meat. Add water and scrape to dislodge brown bits from bottom of pan and return meat, onions, peppers and potatoes. Cook, covered, over low heat until thighs and potatoes are tender, 35 to 40 minutes. Stir occasionally.
    When tender, cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until liquid has evaporated and meat and potatoes are browned.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
