Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 c. mashed, very ripe bananas
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugar.
    Add bananas and eggs and mix well.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
    Stir in nuts.
    Bake in a greased loaf pan for 1 hour in 350\u00b0 oven.
