Banana Tea Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
In another bowl, mix shortening and sugar with a spoon until soft.
Add eggs and beat well, then add to dry ingredients and mix well.
Add bananas, nuts and dates and mix well.
Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour in a preheated oven.
