Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. orange juice
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    boiling water
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 to 1 c. raw cranberries
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Place orange juice and melted shortening in cup; add water to make 3/4 cup.
    Add liquid to dry ingredients, then stir in egg.
    Add berries and nuts.
    Pour in greased loaf pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
