Christmas Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. potatoes
    2 c. water
    1 c. celery
    1 c. carrot slices
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 tsp. parsley flakes
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    1 large ham slice (1/2-inch thick), cubed
    pepper to taste
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
Preparation
    Put the first 10 items in a pot and cover; simmer until vegetables are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
    Blend milk and flour together well.
    Pour into mixture and cook until thickened.
    Stir in cheese until it melts good.
