Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
3 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
1 egg
1 c. milk

Preparation

Combine cornmeal, flour and onion.
Add egg; gradually beat in milk.
Drop from a spoon into hot oil where fish was fried.
Fry until golden brown; drain on paper towel.
Serve hot with fish.
