Chicken With Wild Rice(From A Friend, Holly) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. long grain wild rice
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, cut in quarters
    2 whole chickens
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. water
    1 c. sherry
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 tsp. curry powder (optional)
Preparation
    Boil
    chicken
    with
    water, sherry, salt, onion, celery and curry
    powder
    1
    1/2 hours.
    Cool and debone.
    Cook rice using water from chicken.
    Saute mushrooms in 1/4 cup butter. Mix
    soup, sour cream, chicken and rice together.
    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Garnish with whole mushrooms. This is
    a great buffet dish and always a big hit.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
