Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp. sugar
2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. pickling spice
1 medium onion, sliced (optional)
12 to 15 hard-boiled eggs
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except eggs.
Simmer for 8 minutes. Strain; pour over eggs along with beet juice for color.
Store in refrigerator for several days.
