Baked Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium onions, thinly sliced
    1 (3 3/4 oz.) bag potato chips, crushed
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. milk
    cayenne pepper
Preparation
    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch buttered casserole, place alternate layers of onions, potato chips and cheese.
    Mix soups and milk; pour over top of layers in casserole.
    Sprinkle generously with cayenne.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 gas oven for 1 hour.
    Yield:
    6 to 8 servings.
