Rum Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. rum
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water in saucepan.
    Bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Cool to lukewarm; add lemon juice and rum.
    Makes about 1 cup.
