Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices white bread, cut into cubes
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 small green pepper, finely chopped
1 egg
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. catsup
Preparation

Combine bread cubes, chopped onion and pepper, egg and ground beef together, turning lightly with a fork.
Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Do not stir more than necessary as it tends to make the loaf tough.
Shape into an oval loaf and place in shallow baking pan.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
