Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    pecans, coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Allow the butter to get real soft.
    Add other ingredients and beat until thoroughly blended.
    Fold in pecans, as many as wanted (2 cups).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes in unbaked pie shell.
