Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium boiling potatoes (2 lb.)
    10 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. beer
    1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Place unpeeled potatoes in large saucepan.
    Add water to cover. Boil 20 minutes or until tender.
    Peel and slice.
    Turn into serving dish.
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Leave drippings in pan. Crumble bacon over potatoes.
    Add onion to skillet.
    Saute until tender.
    Add beer, sugar, salt and celery seed.
    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
    Pour over potatoes.
    Toss lightly.
