Oyster Confetti Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole oysters (8 oz.)
    1/2 lb. pork, boned and sliced thin
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    1 small onion, diced
    1 clove garlic, pressed
    1 can chicken broth (14 1/2 oz.)
    2 medium tomatoes, chopped
    1 c. uncooked brown rice
    1 tsp. thyme, crumbled
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 medium zucchini, shredded
Preparation
    Drain oysters; reserve 1 tablespoon liquid.
    Brown pork in oil.
    Add green pepper, onion and garlic.
    Saute.
    Add reserved oyster liquid and remaining ingredients except zucchini.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Add zucchini, then oysters.
    Heat through and serve.
