Nut Bar - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. flour
1 lb. Crisco
1 lb. sugar
2 lb. nuts (filberts or almonds), roasted
10 oz. pineapple preserves
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 lb. dates, cut up
1/2 lb. raisins (optional)
4 eggs
Preparation

Mix Crisco with flour.
Blend dry ingredients together, then add eggs and vanilla; blend well.
Fold in pineapple and nuts last. Make into bar.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 15 or 20 minutes.
