Russian Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cups self-rising cornmeal
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 cup oil
    1 cup onions, chopped
    1/2 cup shredded cheese of your choice
    3 hot peppers, chopped
    1 cup cream style corn (8 oz. can)
    2 cups buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425. Combine all ingredients except eggs and buttermilk. Add eggs and buttermilk, stir. Pour batter into iron skillet or skillet with oven proof handle. Bake 45-50 minutes. Makes 10 slices.
