Boiling Water Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In bowl, combine shortening and boiling water.
    Stir until shortening melts; add flour, salt and baking powder.
    Chill. Makes 8-inch double crusts.
