Orange Slice Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. orange slices, diced
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nut meats
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs, well beaten

Preparation

Mix orange slices with 1/2 of the flour.
Add rest of the flour, baking powder, nuts, brown sugar and eggs.
Mix well. Spread on greased cookie sheet (approximately 10 x 5-inch).
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes, until just barely brown.
Frost with powdered sugar icing while still hot.
