Melvena'S Delicious Jellied Old Fashioned Cole Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. hot water
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. grated onion
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar or to taste
2 c. finely shredded cabbage
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin and salt in hot water. Add the cold water and chill until just syrupy.
Fold in remaining ingredients (except cabbage).
Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in the cabbage and pour into mold. Refrigerate until ready to serve. This should be done ahead and cannot be frozen.
Serves 4 to 6.
Can be doubled.
