Chili (Mexico) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 small green pepper, diced
    1 small onion, diced
    2 c. diced tomatoes
    2 c. cooked chili beans
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. chili seasoning
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef in shortening.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
