Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. coarsely chopped pretzels
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 stick melted butter
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 small pkg. frozen strawberries
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    9 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix together the first 3 ingredients.
    Press in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 8 minutes at 400\u00b0; cool thoroughly.
    Mix together with mixer the cream cheese and sugar.
    Add Cool Whip; spread on cooled crust.
    Dissolve jello in 2 cups hot water.
    Add strawberries.
    When berries have thawed and jello begins to thicken, pour over cream cheese mixture.
