Cherry Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. sweet milk
    1 can pie cherries (juice and all)
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Melt the butter in a deep baking dish or 12 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    In another dish, mix the sugar, flour, baking powder and sweet milk.
    Pour mixture over melted butter.
    Do not stir.
    Pour the pie cherries (juice and all) over this.
    Do not stir.
    Pour over this 3/4 cup sugar. Do not stir. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for
    1 hour. Serve warm or at room temperature.
    Delicious with other fruits also.
