Salmon Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. onion, chopped fine
    1 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans boneless, skinless salmon*
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed old fashion vegetable soup
    1 c. cooked rice or chopped cooked potato
    3 c. milk
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cook onion in oleo until tender, not browned.
    Add salmon. Cook 1 minute.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Simmer for 20 minutes uncovered.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Good served with corn bread.
    Makes 4 servings.
