Hot Dog Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. onions
    4 c. cabbage
    6 red peppers
    6 green peppers
    10 green tomatoes
    1/2 c. canning salt
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. turmeric
    6 c. sugar
    4 c. vinegar
    2 c. cold water
Preparation
    Grind first 5 ingredients and drain.
    Sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight.
    Rinse well and drain.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over vegetable mixture.
    Heat to a full boil and boil for 10 minutes.
    Pack into hot jars.
    Adjust lids. Process in hot water bath canner 10 minutes.
