Baking Powder Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut shortening into flour mixture.
Make a well in center of flour and pour milk in well. Stir until dough cleans the bowl (not over half a minute).
Knead dough 1/2 minute.
Pat dough out on a floured surface to about 1/2-inch thick.
Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
