Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 onions, finely chopped
    2 garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 1/4 lb. lean ground beef
    3 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. chopped tomatoes
    4 c. hot, mashed potatoes
    pinch of thyme, salt and pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Heat oil in saucepan.
    When hot, add onions, garlic and parsley.
    Mix and cook for 3 minutes over medium heat.
    Add beef and thyme; mix well.
    Continue cooking for 5 to 6 minutes over medium heat.
    Stir occasionally and season. Add tomatoes and tomato paste; cook 4 to 5 minutes over low heat.
