Oatmeal Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    2/3 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    2/3 c. quick oats
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour and oats and mix well. Press firmly and evenly into lightly buttered cookie sheet (approximately 10 x 14-inch).
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes until lightly browned.
    Cut into squares immediately then cool in pan.
