Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

pie crust for 9-inch double crust
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. flour
6 to 8 tart apples, peeled and sliced
lemon juice (optional)
1/2 tsp. lemon rind grated
1 to 2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
Add sliced apples and mix to coat.
Place apple slices in pan.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and rind; dot with butter.
Top with crust; slash vents in center of crust.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes, until apples are done and crust is golden brown.
