Sinful Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 oz. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 or 3 bananas, mashed
    1 c. pecans (optional)
    16 to 20 oz. frozen strawberries, drained
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Combine jello and water; stir until dissolved.
    Cool.
    Add bananas, pecans, strawberries and pineapple to jello.
    Stir well. Pour 1/2 of mixture into a 12 x 8-inch dish.
    Refrigerate until set, 1 hour.
    Keep remaining jello mixture at room temperature. Spread sour cream evenly over set jello.
    Pour remaining jello over sour cream.
    Cover and chill 1 1/2 hours.
