Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 cup shortening
    2/3 cup butter
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 eggs
    2 t. vanilla
    3 cups flour (self-rising)
    1 cup chopped nuts
    1 - 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375.
    Mix thoroughly shortening, butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.
    Blend in remaining ingredients.
    Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake 8 - 10 mins. or until light brown.
    Cool sightly before removing. Makes 7 dozen.
