Carrot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 c. carrots
    mayonnaise
    small bag marshmallows
    1 c. raisins
    1 can crushed pineapple (20 oz.)
Preparation
    Grate carrots.
    Drain pineapple and mix together and add raisins.
    Put marshmallows and about 1/2 cup mayonnaise and a little pineapple juice in a saucepan and melt, stirring all the time to keep from sticking.
    Pour over carrots and let chill.
